Why we built it

Most fitness apps are built for people who already train. We wanted one for everyone else: the walk round the block with Mum, the week your mates all try to out-walk each other, ten minutes with the phone in your pocket.

So Stepa puts your steps next to the people you actually know, not strangers. There are no rings to close, no calorie targets and no shame. Walk as you walk, and Stepa nudges you to walk a bit more, with the people you love.

Stepa arrived on the App Store in June 2026 and on Google Play in September 2026. So far, people have walked more than 300 million steps with it.
